For an average cable bill of $160/mo, this means about $8/mo per cable subscriber helps fund WMC services. Over the past five years, we've seen a decline of 1,277 cable-subscribing households in our community. This translates to an annual reduction of approximately $122,592 in funding for WMC. We expect this trend to continue, and likely accelerate. We deeply appreciate your continued support as we work towards a sustainable future. ABOUT MISSION STATEMENT Westwood Media Center promotes and enhances local television content to Westwood residents via cable and online channels in order to support an informed and active citizenry, increase the transparency and quality of civic decision-making, deepen understanding of local issues of importance and promote civility in public dialogue, while respecting the rights to free speech and creative expression. Our Team Sean Corcoran, Executive Director Sean Corcoran brings nearly two decades of experience in public media leadership, newsroom management, and innovative storytelling. Since February 2022, he has served as Executive News Director at KUNC, Northern Colorado’s NPR affiliate, where he led a 20-person multimedia newsroom producing daily broadcasts, long-form features, and special series. Under his leadership, KUNC was named 2024 Radio Station of the Year by the Colorado Broadcasters Association and received the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for General Excellence (Region 3), along with five additional Murrow Awards in 2024. Previously, Sean served as Senior Managing Editor for News at WGBH in Boston, where he helped oversee a 100-person radio and television newsroom. During his tenure, he guided editorial direction across major daily programs and collaborated with WBUR to launch a local segment for NPR’s Consider This podcast. He also served as Executive Producer of the acclaimed podcast The Forgetting: Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s. Earlier in his career, Sean spent a decade at WCAI-FM, the NPR station serving Cape Cod and the Islands, where he worked as News Director, Broadcast Reporter, and Radio Host. Charlotte Lynch, Station Manager Charlotte Lynch is the Station Manager at Westwood Media Center. She has been involved with Milton Access Television since she was a teenager, working as a Production Assistant and Director. Prior to working for WMC, Charlotte was a Master Control Operator and Director for Lax Sports Network, and a Technical Director for Pride Productions in Hempstead, New York. Charlotte received her degree in Video/Television from Hofstra University in 2014. Charlotte attended high school at Catholic Memorial in West Roxbury, where she worked on the morning news program CMTV for two years. Evan Cardimino, Production Manager Evan Cardimino is the Production Manager at Westwood Media Center. Before working at Westwood Media Center, he worked at EVS Broadcast Equipment as a Technical Support Engineer in Fairfield, New Jersey, at the University of Maine as a Replay Operator in Orono, Maine, and as a Director of The Nite Show with Danny Cashman in Bangor, Maine. Evan received a Communications Technology – Video Production degree from the New England School of Communications at Husson University in 2022.
